CONTROLS_______________________________________________________________

A.

Tilt Steering 

Pull lever up to release steering column. Tilt column
up or down to position desired. Release lever to lock
steering column in place.

B.

Turn Assist

Reduces the turning radius of the machine for
operation in close areas. Use the turn assist pedals
for making tight turns around trees and other objects.
To operate turn assist, press pedal down gradually
until desired turning radius is achieved - left pedal

 for left turns, right pedal

 for right turns. 

Note:

 

Pressing pedal too hard will cause wheel to

lock up and may tear or mark the turf.

Speed Limiter

Limits forward speed while cutting or operating
attachments. To operate at lower travel speed rotate
lever as shown

board when traction pedal is pressed forward. To
travel at full speed, set lever in position shown

Traction Pedal 

Press front pedal

down for forward travel.

Release pedal to slow tractor and stop.

Press rear pedal (

) down for reverse travel.

Release pedal to slow tractor and stop. Allow tractor
to come to a complete stop before reversing
directions.

Alarm

The alarm, along with the warning lights, sounds to
alert the operator to conditions requiring immediate
attention. See Section 4.3.

F.

Hydraulic Oil Cap/Dipstick

Fill to green mark on dipstick using clean hydraulic
fluid while machine is cool. Do not overfill.

G.

Fuel Cap

Fill fuel tank with No. 2 diesel fuel, minimum cetane
rating of 45. Section 5.12 See engine manual for
additional fuel specifications.

H.

Parking Brake

To engage parking brake pull up on lever. Always
engage parking brake before starting and after
stopping machine.

Seat Adjustments

The standard operator’s seat has five adjustment
settings.

Side Deck Transport Locks

Locks decks in upright position for transporting
tractor. Locks must be manually released before
lowering decks. Section 5.6

K.

Alarm System Test Switch 

Used to test the alarm system. To test, turn ignition
key to RUN and press switch. An audible alarm will
sound and warning lights will come on.

 

CAUTION

 Never adjust steering while tractor is moving. Stop 

unit and set parking brake before adjusting.
