Setting alarm time
1 . When pressing the V ALARM SET the pre-set alarm time is
shown . The inner circle shows an alarm symbol . Press and
hold the V ALARM SET for a few seconds until the alarm
symbol starts to flash .
2 . Release the V ALARM SET button quickly .
Press V ALARM SET again or TIME SET

until the Wake Up
Clock shows the desired alarm time .
3 . Pressing the TIME SET

adds time and pressing the
V ALARM SET deducts time . Push and hold the button for
quick scrolling . Push momentarily for adding or deducting
time by one minute .
4 . NOTICE: When the correct alarm time is obtained leave the
Wake Up Clock without touching any buttons . After a few
seconds the Wake Up Clock starts automatically and the
inner circle flashes once every second . The alarm symbol in
the inner circle indicates that the alarm is activated .
5 . In order to view the alarm time just press either side of the
front button momentarily and the alarm time is shown for
a short moment .
Activate alarm
Press and hold the top-button "ON" for a few seconds until
the alarm symbol is shown in the inner circle . Release and the
alarm is then active .
Disarm the alarm
Press and hold the top-button "OFF" for a few seconds until
the alarm symbol in the inner circle disappears .
Alarm
When the alarm first goes off the back-light will be turned on
for a short moment and the alarm will sound for a maximum
of 2 minutes . After one minute the alarm will be more
intense . If the alarm is not turned off it will stop automatically
after 2 minutes .
How to use the SNOOZE function
When the alarm sounds a short press on either side of the
top button (less than 2 seconds) will switch the alarm off for
8 minutes . The SNOOZE function can be activated again and
again, silencing the alarm sound for 8 minutes each time .
When the alarm sounds or the snooze function is activated
the alarm symbol in the centre circle is flashing .
How to use the back-light
The back-light can be activated on demand by pressing either
side of the top-button momentarily . The light will turn off
automatically .
How to use the key lock
Locate the KEY LOCK slide-switch in the battery compartment .
If you push the switch "ON", all keys will be locked .
This function is useful when you travel in order to avoid an
unwanted pressing of keys, change of settings and subsequent
use of batteries .
Please note that the display on the product is a LCD (Liquid
Crystal Display) and for optimum readability of the display,
the product must be placed in a location with good lighting.
