INSTRUCTIONS
Your JackRabbit has been 98% pre-assembled and only requires a few steps to get it
ready to ride. (The FAQ page of our website links to an assemble video for guidance.)
1. Remove all contents from the carton and record the serial number found on the
front of the head tube above the fork. If anything is damaged please contact us.
2. Undo the rubber band that holds the
stem/handlebar assembly to the frame. Snap
together the two stem wire plugs.
Note: they only fit
one way.
Push the black rubber puck into the stem
extension before inserting it into the stem base.
The notch in the end of the extension will engage
the stem base’s shear bolt
and keep the
handlebars centered.
3. The brake cable passes on the left side of the stem--not the right side as shown
in the Diagram.
4. Press down the quick release lever to secure the stem extension assembly to the
stem base. If necessary turn the thumb nut
to adjust the clamp’s tightness.
5. Squeeze the hand brake lever to confirm that the brake pads contact the rim.
6. Set the saddle height so that both feet rest flat on the ground when seated.
7. Fold down the footrests.
8. Toggle the power switch on the underside of the frame to the ON (
I
) position.
Confirm the battery’s charge status by pressing the small button on top of the frame. If
only the red LED illuminates the battery is 25% charged (30-33 volts) and should be
recharged before riding. Thirty minutes of charging will be sufficient to get going!
