The
typical
power
consumption
of
the
615
is
much
lower
that
a
desktop
computer
and
more
comparable
to
a
notebook
computer.
Using
the
Intel’s
Atom
processors
and
Intel
chipset
allows
for
much
lower
power
consumption
than
previous
generations
of
POS
computers.
This,
when
coupled
with
J2
software
power
reduction
utilities,
can
greatly
reduce
the
system’s
total
carbon
foot
print.
