range.
Safety Interlocks
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appli-
ance and save them for future reference. Please keep the sales re-
ceipt for guarantee purposes (please see below “Guarantee and
Customer Service”). IZZY is not responsible for non-compliance
of the instructions.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed:
• Your appliance is electronic and thus its function may be influenced
by temperature variations or by its movement.
• This fully electronic kitchen scale is designed to fit multi purpose us-
age. It operates with 3 AAA alkaline batteries.
• The scale must be placed on a flat, stable, smooth and sheltered
area.
• Always place the scale on a sheltered area when in use as air move-
ment and breathing will affect its accuracy.
• Always place the objects on the scale’s platform gently.
• Always wait until the weight indication is stabilized on the LCD dis-
play. The stable weight indication is the one you should take under
consideration.
• Never place on the electronic bath scales objects exceeding 5 kilos /
11lbs for weighing, since this will permanently damage the scale’s sen-
sor.
• In case of overloading the electronic kitchen scale, the indication “Err”
will be displayed on the LCD.
• You should replace the battery of the electronic kitchen scale once
the low battery indication “LO” is shown on the LCD display.
• Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners for cleaning the appliance.
