Quick Installation

 

 

This EIDE Motherboard is shipped with 
manufacture preset at :

CPU Clock at 

100 MHz

512K Pipeline Burst Cache

Step 1.   Install  CPU and Cooler 

   

 

Ma ke sure the Clock Frequency is set to the sa me a s the CPU 

   

 

insta lled. (Choose the CPU  speed by one jumper on JP15) 

Step 2.   Install  the memory 

   

 

Plug  a t lea st  2 PCS of  72 pins Micro Edge DRAM modules 

   

 

or a t lea st 1 piece of 168 pins DIMM. 

Step 3.   Install  display controller and connect I/O ports 

This system boa rd is designed using

 PCI

  (Periphera l Component 

Interconnect) a nd 

ISA

 (Industry Sta nda rd Architecture) interfa ce 

controller.  This s5Volt interfa ce slots. All  PCI interfa ce 
controllers must be PCI Rev 2.1 complia nt.  

Step 4.   Connect the power supply   

   

Connect P8 a nd P9 from power supply output. 

 

Step 5.   Power on the system 

   

Turn on the Computer power. 

 

Step 6.   Setting up the system  

   

Enter the "

Setup  Menu

 " key while
