BIOS Setup

4.4.8 Base Memory

The POST (Power-On Self Test) determines the amount of
base (conv entional) memory installed in the system. The
v alue of the base memory is typically 640K. This field has no
options.

4.4.9 Extended Memory

The BIOS determines how much extended memory is
present during the POST. This is the amount of memory
located above 1MB in the processor’

This field has no options.

4.4.10Total Memory

Displays the total memory av ailable in the system.
