Cleaning the collet / spindle
Click the button “Re-
move tool“ in the CNC
module of the software.

Clean the collet using the
brush of the Maintenance Kit
and make sure that the seal-
ings in the collet do not fall off.
Clean the inner cone of the spindle
with the cleaning cone of the Main-
tenance Kit.
Insert the measuring pin into the
collet and hold it firmly with one
hand. Manually unscrew the collet
using the knurled screw of the Spin-
dle Maintenance Kit.
Open the front flap.
Cleaning of the exterior
Cleaning with a cloth and, if necessary,
with a cleaning agent.
Remove all the disc holders from the
machine and clean them.
Clean the interior of the material
changer using a vacuum cleaner
and a moist cloth. Use the clean-
ing function in the software for
that purpose.
Remove all material residues in the work-
ing chamber with the brush and / or vac-
uum cleaner.
The measuring sensor should be sepa-
rately cleaned using a brush.
Check if water has accumulated in the
water separator and empty the con-
tainer, if necessary, by opening the dis-
charging screw.

Take a small quantity of the collet
grease from the Maintenance Kit
and apply it on the slopes of the
collet.

Insert the measuring pin into the
collet. Screw the collet into the
spindle until it stops using the
screw-in piece.

Click the button “Basic set-
tings“.

Confirm the prompt to open the
collet.
