Step One
Hold the fixing frame in position and mark the position for each of the six holes.
Please ensure that the longest edge is against the ceiling and that all three sides are
touching the walls/ceiling as equally as possible.
The fixing lugs are designed to flex and therefore any irregularities in the wall angles
will be taken up by this feature.
Step Two
Mark the hole positions and then drill the holes using an appropriate drill bit for the
chosen fixings. You should always use the appropriate fixings for the type of wall
construction. The integrity of the unit depends on the frame remaining securely
fixed to the wall and ceiling.
Step Three
Securely fix the frame into position using ALL the fixings holes.
Step Four
At this point it is possible to apply any sealant or filling agent around the edge of the
frame to minimise chances of water
ingress . Anti-‐pick mastic such as
Bostik C404 is recommended for
applications such as custody suites or
prisons.
Step Six
It may be necessary to make minor
adjustments to the angle of view.
Step Seven
Attach the front plate to the camera
frame using the six security screws
and the special tool provided.
