8. Installation of the EverBlu / RF option board
8.1 Open calculator
Open the meter case by unscrewing the side screws.
WARNING :
Do not open the calculator or connect or disconnect the RF option
board with power supplied.
8.2 Check type of main power supply board
Make sure that the calculator is powered with a main supply board equipped with
the additional connector designed to enable the EverBlu / RF Option Board
connection.
WARNING
:
Only main supply boards with the meters power supply connector cable as well as
the RF board power supply plug are applicable for RF applications.
8.3 Check type of main power supply board
Plug the option board using the guidance clip on the right hand side of the calculator
pushing then the board until all option board connections are made.
Connect the RF board main power supply cable to the additional power supply plug
of the main power supply board.
Make sure, that the power supply cable for the meter is correctly mounted and
connected.
WARNING
:
Avoid ElectroStatic Discharges by NOT touching any electronic components.
Only manipulate the product by the side of the board and plug it pushing on the
metallic lid
8.4 Labelling
Place the unstickable label with RF reference number at the free labelling area at
the bottom front side of the calculator case.
8.5 Optional Water Meter configuration
In case of the use of Optional Water Meter outputs configure as described in
Chapter 9.
8.6 Closing calculator
Close the calculator carefully with the side screws.
Switch on the main power supply.
