Testing the Printer

19

1.

Open the printer cover.

2.

Plug the DC power cord from the external power supply into the printer.

3.

Plug the AC power cord into the external power supply.

4.

Plug the AC power cord into a grounded three- prong power socket.

5.

The status LED will start flashing after approximately 1 ½ seconds.

6.

Close the paper cover.

7.

The printer will print some technical information.

8.

To print some sample code pages, press the paper feed button.
