with you.
Product description
The Appliance-Protection-Plug prevents damages caused by overvoltage, for example because of the impacts of
lightning or switching operations on gadgets such as hifi-units, computers, radios, televisions or similar.
Application / How to use
Please insert the Appliance-Protection-Plug into the socket. The inbuilt pilot lamp flashes up. Please insert the male
plugs of the gadgets to be protected into the sockets of the adapter – ready!
Mode of operation
The Appliance-Protection-Plug breaks down overvoltage up to an electric surge of 2.500A. Extremely high
overvoltage, e.g. due to a lightning strike in close proximity, causes the thermal fuse to react and destroys the
overload protection components. The pilot lamp blows out and thus shows that no protection is given from
overvoltage and that the Appliance-Protection-Plug has to be replaced. The connected gadgets will continue to
operate.
ATTENTION: We advise protecting appliances with an aerial socket through a special mains overload filter
(e.g. our art. no. 87280).

Guarantee
We grant a two year guarantee for this device. Guarantee includes repair of all defects that were not caused by
defective material or fabrication mistakes. Guarantee does not apply on wearing parts. Since ISOTRONIC has no
influence on correct and appropriate assemblage and operation it is obvious that guarantee applies only on
completeness and proper condition. ISOTRONIC takes on neither liability nor guarantee for damages or
consequential damages in connection with this product. This applies especially when the device was altered or
repaired, when circuits were changed or non-original spare parts were used or when damage was caused by false or
negligent operation or abuse.
