MDL3X BOARD MOUNTING OF MDLS5/V5 MODULES
(To obtain a proportional actuator with voltage or current signal)
• Insert the module onto the male strip on the board (removing preventively the SW9 jumper), paying attention that all strip
terminals enter correctly into the female plug.
• Fasten the module with the supplied screw.
• Select the control signal (V or I) and the desired range.
ADJUSTMENT (PROPORTIONAL MODELS)
• Set the 90°/160° stroke by the cams and the SW4 switch.
• Move the CM1 switch to MAN.
• Using a screwdriver, rotate the potentiometer shaft (small gear) counterclockwise until its mechanical stop.
• Power the actuator between the L1 and L2 terminals.
• Bring the actuator to stroke end by the SW7 switch.
• Bring the actuator to stroke start SW7 switch.
• Using a screwdriver, rotate the P4 trimmer until the tester indicates 0V ± 0,1 V on the M (-) and S2 (+) terminals.
• Move the CM1 switch to AUTO.
• For strokes different from 90°/160°, once calibration is carried out, see the MDL installation instructions.
LABELS
Attach an adhesive label (the bigger one) with the electrical connections inside the cover and, on the case, the label with iSMA
CONTROLLI references.
