Cleaning.
WARNING: Check the material compatibility
of the cleaning/disinfectant solution used
before cleaning (see “Material List”)!
NOTE: Pay close attention to ensure that the
correct cleaning solution or combined dis-
infectant and cleaning solution is used. The
reaction time and the selected temperature
are crucial for proper cleaning results.
Thorough Cleaning
NOTE: Please observe the illustrations on
cleaning.
1. Press the push button until the device is com-
pletely empty and has been depressurized.
2. Unscrew the push button from the device
head and remove the device head.
NOTE: It is essential to remove the push button
for thorough cleaning.
3. Disassemble the iSi Thermo XPress Whip into
the individual product components.
4. Rinse the product components with warm
(not hot!) drinking water and a commercial
cleaning agent and clean the device head,
riser tube, decorator tip and nozzle adapter
with the cleaning brush. Fully remove any fat
or protein residues.
NOTE: Never use special stainless steel
cleaning agents, scouring agents or abrasive
sponges/brushes.
5. Wash the product components by hand.
NOTE: Maximum cleaning temperature for
manual cleaning is 50 °C / 122 °F.
Disinfection
All product parts which come into contact with
food can be cleaned as normal and then disinfected.
Observe the appropriate instructions for use for
commercial cleaning and disinfectant agents.
