INFORMATION
This function requires crate controller firmware release ECH4XA_408 or higher.
The CONTROL D-SUB-9 female connector provides digital input and output functions.
To use all control connector functions, it may be necessary to perform firmware updates for all modules in the crate first
(see
).
The high level is +5 Volt, low level is ground potential.

Crate Enable
This function must be activated by setting the Crate Enable Active bit in the Control
register to one. This setting is permanent and restored after Power On.
•
When pulled high, the Crate Status bit Crate Enabled is set and high voltage
can be turned on.
•
When open or pulled low, the Crate Status bit Crate Enabled is cleared and no
high voltage can be turned on. If the pin is opened or pulled low during
operation, all high voltages will be turned off with the programmed ramp.

Crate Fast Off
When pulled high, the Crate Status bit Crate Fast Off is set to one and all high voltages
will be shut down without ramp.
