Printing using IrPrint

Press the
HotSync
button on the front of the cradle.
Note:
If this is the first time you have performed a HotSync
operation, a new user dialog box will appear. Enter a user
name and click
OK
.
The HotSync operation starts up. A message appears on the
Palm device indicating it is connecting with the desktop
computer.
When the synchronization process is finished, a message
appears on the Palm device indicating the HotSync
operation is complete.
Printing using IrPrint

Tap the
Home
button on the Palm device to display a list of
available programs.
The
IrPrint
icon appears in the program list.

Tap the
IrPrint
icon.
The
IrPrint
screen is displayed.

Tap the icon for the IrPrint application you want to use.
The screen for the selected program appears.

Select the category or view for the program.

Place the Palm device so its infrared lens (located on the top
edge of the Palm device) is up to 3 feet (1 meter) from the
printer and within a 30-degree total angle from the printer ’s
infrared lens.
Note:
The path between the two infrared devices must be
clear of obstacles.
