1. Getting Started
Welcome
...to the UDC-10, a compact hard drive
enclosure that transforms your ordinary
2.5-inch SATA drive into a super-speed
storage device capable of transferring up

2. Preparing the Equipment

3. Installing the UDC-10
Follow these steps to connect everything together: Your UDC-10, your hard drive, and your
computer.

The UDC-10 is ideal for editing and managing bandwidth-intensive programs such as CAD or
video editing software. The UDC-10 has the speed and power to back up important data and
store office work, digital photos, music and movies in the blink of an eye.
The UDC-10 also provides you with the following benefits:

Step 1: Disassemble the case
Loosen the two screws on the front panel (see the diagram above) using the screwdriver
in the package. Pull the front panel away from the case.
Step 2: Insert the SATA drive into the case
Connect your hard drive and the front panel, make sure they are firmly assembled. Insert
them into the case and tighten the front screws.
Step 3: Connect the UDC-10 to your computer
Use the USB 3.0 cable to connect the UDC-10 to your computer. When the OS recognizes
the hard drive, the LED indicator will turn on.
