Chapter 7 Compressor Parts

The system can be tested by jumping across one of the two silver posts on the front of the

Murphy temperature gauge to the chrome bezel. When the contact is shorted across, the

latching relay will trip and the compressor will stop running. Reset the latching relay by

pushing the button in. The compressor will resume normal running after completing the

blowdown cycle.
