Changing Router Password
The SimpliNET2 Router password is required to
log into the router using the web interface or
the mobile app.
The router password can be changed using the
Setup -> Login Password menu option.
Changing the router password does not have
any affect on the WiFi security key.
During initial setup and after reset, the router
password defaults back to the password printed
on the label at the bottom of the router.
Each router has a per-device unique password
set at the factory to mitigate automated
password guessing attacks.
