1.3 intended use:
This device is a spotlight that can be used to create decorative lighting effects. The "COBARCH1220" is protected
against water (protection class IP65) and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors. To ensure this degree
of protection, after opening the device, any existing rubber seals must be checked for damage and properly
installed. This device is intended for professional use and is not suitable for indoor lighting in households. This
product is only approved for connection to 100V-250V / 50 / 60Hz AC voltage. When choosing the installation
location, make sure that the device is not exposed to excessive heat. Make sure that there are no cables around.
You endanger your own and the safety of others! The ambient temperature must be between -5 ° C and + 45 ° C.
Keep the device away from direct sunlight and radiators. Do not operate the device until you have familiarized
yourself with its functions. Do not allow the device to be operated by persons who are unfamiliar with the device.
Please note that unauthorized modifications to the device are prohibited for safety reasons. Only operate the
device after making sure that all rubber seals are properly installed, the housing is firmly closed and all necessary
screws have been tightened evenly. Using the unit differently than described in this manual may damage the
product and void the warranty. In addition, any other use with hazards can cause short circuit, fire, electric shock,
crashes, etc.
Part 2: Installation:
Please note that this device must not be connected to a dimmer.
This icon denotes the minimum distance to illuminated objects. The distance between the light exit and
the area to be illuminated must not be less than 0.1 meter!
IMPORTANT!
This device is not intended ti be used under water!
Only use original cables for mains supply and signal cabling. Make sure that the screw connections of the cable
connectors are intact and always tightly closed and that there are no foreign objects such as dust or dirt on the
threads.
IMPORTANT! When operating a single outdoor spotlight, the POWER OUT cables and DMX OUT cables must be
firmly closed with the end caps. The same applies to outdoor spotlights that are located at the end of a spotlight
chain.
In the package you will find: 1x "COBARCH1220", 1x power cable, 1x safety eyelet, 4x end caps (DMX in-and-
out, power in-and-out), 1x user manual.
