Invacare® Solara®3G/Spree 3G Wheelchair

Adjusting Lower Tilt Locking Collar

1.

Loosen the set screw that secures the tilt locking collar to the tilt

slide (Detail “A”).

2.

Repeat STEP 1 for opposite side of wheelchair.

3.

Tilt the wheelchair to the desired angle of tilt.

4.

Position the two tilt locking collars against the bearing housing.

5.

Securely tighten the two set screws of the tilt locking collars (Detail

“A”).

This procedure limits the amount of tilt the
wheelchair may have. If adjusting the angle the
wheelchair returns to. Refer to Adjusting Upper
Tilt Locking Collar. on page 111.



To determine tilt angle relative to the seat frame,
place a magnetic protractor (available at any
hardware store) on the back and adjust the back
until the magnetic protractor reads desired angle
of tilt.



Before tightening, ensure that the two tilt locking
collars are at the same position on the tilt slide.
