mattresses
offer

reducing
qualities,
specific
to
the
individual
needs
of
the
body.
By
promoting
even
weight
distribution,
it
reduces
tissue
pressure
at
potentially
vulnerable
areas.

Capacity
for
this
mattress
is
540
lbs.
Repositioning
It
is
very
important
for
the
patient
to
reposition
themselves,
or
to
be
repositioned,
on
a
regular
basis.
This
relieves
pressure
and
helps
prevent
tissue
compression
and
potential
pressure
ulcer
formation.
Cleaning and Care
The
cover
can
be
wiped
down
using
a
solution
of
neutral
detergent
and
hot
water,
applied
with
a
single
‐
use
wipe,
or
it
can
be
laundered
at
176°
F.
Cleaning
agents
containing
phenols
or
alcohols
should
not
be
used.
The
cover
should
thoroughly
drip
‐
dried
before
refitted
to
the
mattress.
DO
NOT
tumble
dry.
For
heavy
soiling,
the
cover
should
be
laundered
at
176°
F
with
a
dilute
detergent
solution.

and side rails snugly to prevent patient entrapment. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
