5.3 Operating the Semi-Electric Bed
Models 5310IVC and 5311IVC
Before placing the bed into use, test the bed by operating
it through all phases of its operation.
1. Perform the following:
• Use the four function pendant for head and foot
spring operations.
• Use the hand crank for Hi/Lo bed operation.
2. If any problems arise during the test, recheck all
electrical connections and mechanical hook ups.
All semi-electric beds come with an emergency crank
to allow the bed to be lowered in the event of a
power outage.
