2 Introduction
The
intimus 360 Destroyer/360 Crusher
will phy-
sically destroy working and non-working hard disk
drives (HDD), Network HDD, Half-Height HDD, Stan-
dard HDD and Laptop HDD by bending, breaking and
mangling data platters, pc boards and the frames of
the hard drives.
The
intimus 360 Destroyer
is also designed to dest-
roy solid state memory devises (SSD) when used with
the
intimus SSD Destroyer
accessory. (For intimus
360 Crusher: optional accessory)
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by
the party responsible for compliance to Part 15 of the
FCC Rules could void the user’s authority to operate
the equipment.
3 Important Instructions
CAUTION!
Risk of injury! Damage to the machine!
Please read this information before using
the intimus 360 Destroyer/360 Crusher.
This shipment was packaged and delivered to the car-
rier with utmost care to ensure safe delivery of goods
to you, our valued customer. In the event that you
must transport your intimus 360 Destroyer
/360 Crus-
her
to a different location or to the factory for repair
service, you must package it for safe delivery. Failure to
do so may result in freight damage and void warranty.
PLEASE RETAIN ALL SHIPPING MATERIALS FOR FUTURE
USE. Please contact intimus International GmbH for
further information if required.
4 Inspection
1 .
Unpack the shipping carton/case and take out the
hard drive crusher.
2 .
Inspect the machine for shipping damage as soon
as it is unpacked. If the hard drive crusher or any ac-
cessories are damaged or fail to operate correctly,
notify carrier and contact your dealer immediately.
3 .
Retain all shipping materials for possible future
use.
5 Installation
5 .1 Voltage

Before performing any maintenance on
the intimus 360 Destroyer/360 Crusher,
turn the unit off and unplug the power
cord from the electrical outlet!
Each Crusher has a label next to the power plug on the
back of the machine identifying the factory set voltage
configuration. If the identified voltage does not match
your voltage mains, the correct voltage can be easily
configured using the field selectable switch.
In the event the Crusher’s voltage setting needs to be
changed, please perform the following steps:
1 .
Remove 11 screws with T-20 Torx Driver from the
chassis’ left side.

Carefully set the side panel perpendicular to the
rear of the unit.
Note:
The ground cable attached to the side panel
(Fig. 2) does not need to be removed.
