6.1 Preparatory work and information

The standard gateway and the preferred DNS server always end in the number 1, and
are in the used network (in this case 192.168.55.X). The network is defined by the IP
address (in this case 192.168.55.23); when changing the address area, all of the settings
here will need to be changed too. If you wish to reach a device in the address area
192.168.55.X, the following settings must be used:
IP address: 192.168.55.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Standard gateway: 192.168.55.1
Preferred DNS server: 192.168.55.1
The following numbers are blocked as IP addresses:
10 to 29 reserved for control units
30 to 49 reserved for converters
50 to 69 reserved for the BMS
90 reserved for energy meters
