3.2.4.1 Smoke detector

If the smoke detector is triggered, the lithium-ion batteries will be disconnected from the
AC distribution.
The visual and acoustic alarm will also be triggered - the signal horn will continually
sound and the signal light will continually illuminate.
3.2.4.2 Door contact switch

The door contact switch monitors the doors of the battery storage system. The AC unit
will switch off if the doors are opened.
If the doors stay open for more than 30 minutes, the system will shut down. This status is
signalled by the alarm - the signal horn will repeatedly sound briefly and the signal light
will repeatedly illuminate briefly.
If the doors are closed again, a system reset will need to be performed. The reset will re-
activate the AC unit and start up the system. The reset procedure is described in Section
7 -
“Operation”.
