External Microphones
Driver’s Control Unit
For op�mal audio quality, the 2 external microphones should be mounted in one
of the following covert loca�ons, one on each side of the vehicle.
Op�on 1:
Moun�ng in the right & le� external mirror wings
Op�on 2:
Moun�ng in the right & le� upper part of the Door frame bars (see
drawing below).
GYM-12CN Models can use either Toggle or Pushbu�on control units. Both types
include integrated Microphone.
1.
Select a loca�on within the easy reach of the driver.
2.
Make sure that it does not damage the dashboard appearance nor obstruct any
other vehicle equipment and opera�ons.

Plug in the Cable Connector (from the Main Unit)

Pushbu�on Unit – is usually placed with adhesive pad or similar

Installa�on of Toggle switch Unit requires an opening in the dashboard. Make
an opening of 17 X 37 mm and then moun�ng the unit with adhesive.
