Replacement of Receiver & Microphone - SA80 & SA80-D

Connect the 3 wires 

to the new rec and 

add an insulating 

pad

Apply silicone glue 

round the sound outlet 

and mount the nose 

block / rec tube

Disassemble HI and 

remove PCB from HSG 

parts. Lift up the rec to get 

access to rec soldering 

points

Rec soldering points

Place the rec as-

sembly onto module 

and route the wires

Front mic

Rear mic

Add rear mic suspension. Apply glue 

to the inside of mic cover. Mount mic 

into cover. Mount the mic cover into 

the HSG and make sure it is aligned 

Glue

Place the mics and route the wires. 

Soldering points for rear mic is high 

lighted

Soldering points for front mic is 

shown.  An “extra” connection is 

needed for a single mic version 

Apply alcohol round 

the nose block and rec 

port to loosen silicone 

glue
