Overview – Front Panel
Note! Some ADSL Modem models do not have all the keys and LEDS described.
SELECT
Press to toggle
displayed options.
Press and hold for 2
seconds to cancel any
set-up.
SET
Press once to see
firmware version.
Keep pressed for
3 seconds to enter
set-up mode: AD,
CFG, DHP, RST
and LQ.
AD Show IP address of the ADSL Modem.
CFG Configure IP address of the ADSL Modem.
DHP Turn LAN DHCP server of the ADSL Modem on/off.
RST Reset all configurations to factory defaults.
LQ Line Quality (SNR-margin) / Diagnostic test
TX ADSL connection transmission speed.
RX ADSL connection reception speed.
Press
SELECT to change between LQ, RX and TX displays.
Note! TX and RX only indicates the ADSL link physical speed. Your ADSL
supplier may limit the actual transfer speed.
Interface indicators:
On
: Interface is connected.
Off : Interface is not used.
Flashing : Data is sent or received.
AIR –
Wireless (Bluetooth or 802.11) (option)
USB – Universal Serial Bus
ET1 – Ethernet 1 (option)
ET2 – Ethernet 2 (PC or LAN)
WAN – Internet connection. (Flashing = firewall
stopped a packet)
TXD – Data is sent to the Internet.
RXD – Data is received from Internet.
