Appendix 3 LSS-SENSOR.PRG
• As shown by the example, the LSS-SENSOR.PRG checks both
for labels (w gaps) and tickets (w marks). Make sure to read the
part of the table that corresponds to the media type loaded in the
printer.
• If the printer is correctly loaded with paper, that you from
experience know is OK, and there is no or very little difference
between the min. and max. values at all gain levels, the LSS is
probably dirty or defective. If no obvious reason for the LSS
malfunction can be found, consult with the central support
department on the basis of the values from LSS-SENSOR.PRG
and the comparator and gain values returned by the SETUP
WRITE "uart1:" statement (see the #Media Testfeed para-
meter).
• IMPORTANT!
After having run the LSS-SENSOR.PRG program, you must
allow the printer to autoadjust its paper feed by means of a
TESTFEED statement.
