You can configure the 6950 EGS through one of these
connection methods:

Version 6.02 or greater of the wireless station's firmware
provides VT220, TN3270, and TN5250 terminal emulation;

Native using sockets. That means that
once you set up the 6950 EGS with your network
information, a wireless station can telnet to any application
on a VAX, UNIX, or IBM host that uses one of these data
streams.
