Mount power pack to wall surface using a single screw as
shown in figure a. (a minimum 12 inches (30 cm) off the
ground). Use hanger on back side as shown in figure b.

Toolless cable connections
Insert 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) stripped cable through hole in screw
connectors on back of power pack. Securely finger tighten screw
caps. Do not use hand tools to tighten.
Place fixtures in desired location. Route the low voltage cable
to fixtures. If there is extra cable, coil after the last fixture. Be
sure to leave a minimum of 10 feet (3.5 m) of wire between the
power pack and first fixture. Do not hide or bury cable at this time.
If ground is hard, loosen the ground. Carefully press the fixture
into the ground.

Turn power pack on. Attach the fixtures to the cable following
the manufacturer’s instructions included with the fixtures. The
fixture will turn on when the connection is completed per the
manufacturer’s instructions.
Once all fixtures are in place and you are satisfied with their locations,
cable may be protected by covering or burying up to 3 inches (7.6 cm)
deep. Leave about 12 inches (30 cm) of cable after the last fixture.
Add up all bulb wattages to a maximum of 100 watts.
• Power pack must be installed outdoors.
• Mount power pack vertically at least 12 inches (30 cm) above ground. Do not lay on the ground.
• Plug power pack directly into an outdoor GFCI outlet with a weatherproof cover marked “wet location.”
• Do not use extension cords.
• NOT SUITABLE for use with submersible luminaires and pumps.
• Mount power pack at least 10 feet (3.5 m) from pool or spa.
• Use 18 AWG MINIMUM low voltage outdoor cable.
• Do not coil extra cable around the power pack. Leave extra cable at the end away from the power pack.
• Do not repair or tamper with cord or plug.
• Do not submerge power pack.
• Do not connect two or more power packs in parallel.
• Do not use with a dimmer.
• If house circuit breaker trips when power pack is turned on, unplug power pack from AC outlet,
correct fault, restore power, then reset circuit breaker.
• Power pack and fixtures must be installed in compliance with national and all local electrical
codes and ordinances. If necessary to splice cable, carefully follow instructions that came with the
connector you have purchased.
LED fixtures
• Do not use with fixtures that carry a Class 2 rating.
• Do not modify fixtures.
• Must follow all of manufactures individual instructions.

Installation Suggestions
The power pack should be installed in an area exposed
to daylight. If installed in a shady location, you may need
to adjust the light sensitivity for best results.
The power pack should not be installed in the path of
floodlights or other direct light sources. This may interfere
with the function of the photo control.

Select the mode button to cycle through the following time settings.

Power Pack Off
Press the mode button once to turn unit ON all the time.
2nd thru 10th press of mode indicates number of hours
unit stays ON after sundown (from 1-9 hours).
Keep pressing mode until the desired hour appears.
11th press of mode ”d” appears, indicating ON at dusk OFF at dawn.
MODE
This power pack features adjustable light sensitivity controls to compensate for
ambient light levels near the power pack. The settings range from 0 (most
sensitive) to 9 (least sensitive). To adjust the light sensitivity, press the LIGHT
LEVEL button to cycle through the settings (0-9) until the desired level is reached.
As darkness falls, observe when the lights turn on. If further adjustment is
necessary, select a higher or lower light level and observe the lights again the
following evening. This power pack features a 3 minute timed delay which prevents
the device from cycling ON and OFF due to sudden changes in ambient light, such
as vehicle headlights or lightning.
Press mode to repeat the sequence.

at the same time, this will set mode to “f” and light level to “5”.

1. Prepare Cable
Split one end of the cable approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm). Be
careful NOT to expose the copper wire when splitting.Then strip
3/4 inch (1.9 cm) of insulation from both parts of the split end.
