b) Charging devices with the Powerbank
This Powerbank has 2 USB A ports (USB 1 Out / USB 2 Out) and a Type C port (Type C In/
Out). USB 1 Out and Type C In/Out share a maximum output of 3A. USB 2 Out delivers a
maximum output of 2.4A. The intelligent charge control identifies the power requested by
the device to be charged and passes this on to the connected device at the above stated
maximum value.
To charge a device with the Powerbank, please connect one of the supplied USB cables (USB
A to microUSB / USB A to Type C) with one of the two USB A ports (USB 1 Out / USB 2 Out)
on the Powerbank and the other end (microUSB or Type C) with the port of the device to
be charged. Please see the Operating Instructions of the device to be charged for the port
which matches your device. If the charging procedure does not start automatically, press the
ON/OFF button to start it manually.
Of course you can also use your own USB cable to connect the Powerbank with your device
You can also use your Type C to Type C cable for this purpose, provided your device to be
charged supports this USB standard. Connect a cable end with the Type C In/Out port of the
Powerbank and the other cable end with the device to be charged. If the charging procedure
does not start automatically, press the ON/OFF button to start it manually.
If you wish to charge two devices simultaneously, please observe the different power values
of the different USB ports. For a maximum output use the ports USB 1 Out and USB 2 Out
(5.4A max.) or USB 2 Out and Type C In/Out (5.4A max.). USB 1 Out and Type C In/Out share
a maximum output of 3A.
You can also charge three devices simultaneously with the Powerbank. USB 2 Out supplies
a maximum of 2.4A and USB 1 Out and Type C In/Out share a maximum 3A output (5.4A
max.).
The Powerbank can also be used to charge compatible Notebooks. As a rule, these are
Notebooks with a Type C charge input from 2015 onwards. Use the original Type C to Type
C cable of the Laptop at the Type C In/Out port of the Powerbank or the enclosed USB A to
Type C cable on the USB 1 Out of the Powerbank. If you wish to charge another device in
addition to the Notebook, please use only the USB 2 Out port of the Powerbank.
II. Type C IN/OUT
Connect the supplied USB A to Type C cable with the Type C port (Type C In/Out) of the Power -
bank and connect the other end of the USB cable with a standard USB port of a computer or
USB power supply. The required charging time of the Powerbank is dependent on the selected
charging source and its output power (max. 5V / 2.4A).
III. microUSB IN and Type C IN/OUT simultaneously
To charge the Powerbank particularly quickly, connect both cables contained in the delivery
scope as described above. The required charging time of the Powerbank is dependent on the
selected charging source and its output power (together max. 5V / 4.5A).
The charging procedure and the current charging status are signalled via the LED status lights.
When the Powerbank is fully charged, the LED status lights are lit permanently.
You can also charge the Powerbank with own cables and power supplies provided that the above
stated output powers are not exceeded.
During the charging procedure, the Powerbank can also be used for simultaneous charging of a
connected device. However, this influences the charging speed of both devices and can lead to
increased heat development. Therefore, one should refrain from doing this.
