System Fan Removal

Figure 63. Removing the system fan

If present, remove the power supply (see Section 4.12.1) from the system fan assembly to be
removed.

While pushing the green latch in the shown direction (see Letter A), use the handle to pull the system
fan assembly out of the bay (see Letter B).

4.13.2

System Fan Installation

Figure 64. Installing the system fan

Ensure no power supply is pre-installed in the system fan assembly.

Insert the system fan assembly into the open fan assembly bay (see Letter A)
Note: 80 mm fans on the sides (air cooled system only), 60 mm fans in the three center bays.

Push in the system fan assembly until it locks into place.
