2.3 Using the keyboard
The function keys on your Notebook PC’s keyboard can trigger the following commands:
Function keys Expectation
Fn+F1 Puts the Notebook PC into Sleep mode
Fn+F2 Display switch
Fn+F3 Display brightness Increase
Fn+F4 Display brightness Decrease
Fn+F5 Turns Widi on/off
Fn+F6 Turns the volume mute
Fn+F7 Turns the volume down
Fn+F8 Turns the volume up
Fn+F9 Keyboard brightness Decrease
Fn+F10 Keyboard brightness Increase
Fn+F11 Number Lock
Fn + Insert Print screen
Fn + Del Pause
Fn+ Left Home
Fn+ Right End
Fn + Up Page Up
Fn + Down Page Down
2.4 Turn your Notebook PC off
There are three ways to turn off the Notebook PC
1) Tap from the Charm bar, then tap and select Shut down to do a
normal shut down.
2) From the log-in screen , tap and select Shut down to do a normal shut down.
3) Launch the desktop then press alt+f4 to launch the shut down window, select shut down from the
drop-down list.
