Processor Support
The development board supports the 2nd Generation Intel
®
Core™ processor family in
a 989-pin rPGA package (U3E1), which fits into Socket G2.
The processor features a monolithic die with integrated memory and graphics
controller.
Note:
Socket G2 -- Socket 988B specifically meant for 2nd Generation Intel
®
Core™
processor family. It has pins A1, B1 de-populated compared to rPGA 989.
