C1210 MANUAL
1. Warning
1.1 Please read before using this manual
This manual is part of the product and should be kept near the instrument for easy and quick reference.
The instrument shall not be used for purposes different from those described hereunder. It cannot be
used as a safety device.
Check the application limits before proceeding.
1.2 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Check the supply voltage is correct before connecting the instrument.
2. Do not expose to water or moisture: use the controller only within the operating limits avoiding sudden
temperature changes with high atmospheric humidity to prevent formation of condensation
3. Warning: disconnect all electrical connections before any kind of maintenance.
4. Fit the probe where it is not accessible by the End User. The instrument must not be opened.
5. Consider the maximum current which can be applied to each relay (see Technical Data).
6. Ensure that the wires for probes, loads and the power supply are separated and far enough from
each other, without crossing or intertwining.
2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Model C1210 is a microprocessor based controller suitable for applications on commercial temperature
refrigerating units. It’s provided with 1 relay output to control a compressor. It’s also provided with 1 x NTC
probe input for temperature control.
The output relay is able to be manually activated with a press of the
“SET” Button
3. CONTROLLING LOADS
3.1 THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
:
F4 = 1 :When the temperature of the sensor is higher than the total value of the temperature set point
and temperature difference (F0), the compressor time delay (F1) starts, the compressor starts and K1 is on.
When it is lower than the value that the control temperature minus the temperature difference (F0), the
compressor stops and K1 is off.
Fig.1
F4 = 2 :When the temperature of the sensor is lower than the value of the temperature set point minus
the temperature difference (F0) , the time delay (F1) starts,K1 will then turn on. When the temperature of
sensor is higher than the temperature set point and temperature difference (F0), K1 will turn off.
F4 = 3 : After working for a whole defrosting cycle (F6), it automatically enters the defrosting state, the
compressor stops, and the cooling indicator goes out. And, when the defrosting time reaches F7, the
compressor starts.
3.2 SPECIAL WORKING MODE:
When the sensor temperature surpasses the highest working temperature (F3) or the sensor
short-circuit
shows “H1” (H2), or when the sensor temperature is below the lowest working temperature (F2)
or the opening circuit of the sensor shows “L1” (L2), it enters the fixed time working mode. The compressor
operates for 45 minutes and stops for 15 minutes.
