4 QUICK SETUP

Remove the system from the packaging/transport box and set it up.

Connect the system with network cable and PoE power supply unit (POE or OUT).

Connect the PoE power supply to the control computer (LAN or IN) using an additional network cable.

Connect control computer and PoE power supply (230 VAC).

Install the ESA software on the control computer.

Observe discipline selection during installation.
The SQ system with board version 3.x is configured using the TELNET protocol.

Activate the Telnet client within the Windows operating system.

Access the system via command prompt (required IP is shown on the system display).
The SQ system with board version 4.x is configured using a web browser.

Access the system via web browser (required IP is shown on the system display).

Make the desired IP assignments (host=system/server=PC/laptop)

Start the ESA2015 software, open ESA Communicator - if communication is already in progress (green
traffic light) adjust the values for gain (5), threshold (3) and timeout (100) if necessary.
Note: Unlocking the ESA Communicator is only possible via System Operator (Default: 0) .
