Reversing your freezer door

Remove the two screws securing the cabinet top plate to the back of
the cabinet.

Remove the six screws securing the door overhang plate to the
cabinet top plate on the front of the cabinet.

Raise the cabinet top plate and rest it on the roof of the cabinet to
reveal the top door hinge bracket.

Remove the two screws securing the top door hinge bracket to the
cabinet, then remove the bracket. Replace the outer screw in the
cabinet.

Open and remove the door from the lower hinge bracket post, then
set the door aside.

With a flat bladed tool, carefully remove the hole plug on the opposite
side of the cabinet and transfer it to the hole remaining from top hinge
bracket removal.

Remove the four screws securing the lower hinge bracket to the base
of the cabinet, then remove the bracket.

Remove the leveling foot and corner screw from the cabinet base and
transfer them to the corresponding holes on the opposite side.

Remove the leveling foot knob from the lower hinge bracket. Use a
12 mm wrench to remove and reverse the position of the bracket post,
and a flat bladed screwdriver to remove and reverse the hole position
of the bracket door lift screw.

Use the four previously removed screws to attach the lower hinge
bracket to the cabinet base, then mount the door on the bracket post.

Remove the plastic cap from the top hinge bracket post. Use a flat
bladed screwdriver to remove and reverse the hole position of the
bracket post, then replace the cap.

Remove the screw from the top corner of the cabinet, then insert the
hinge post into the door hole. Use two previously removed screws to
attach the top hinge bracket to the cabinet.
Notes
• Unplug the freezer before performing the door reversal
process. Failure to unplug the freezer may result in serious
injury or death from electrical shock.
• To avoid personal injury and property damage, obtain
assistance from another person to perform the door
reversal process.
Note
Be careful to retain all washers and gaskets when removing and
replacing hinges.
