Additional safety concerns

Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, make sure that the
voltage indicated on the bottom of the kettle and base corresponds
with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your
dealer and do not use the kettle.

The attached base cannot be used for other than its intended use.

Even though there is boil-dry protection built into the kettle, we
recommend that you do not operate the kettle without water to avoid
damaging the heat elements.

Unplug the kettle when not in use.

If you try to operate the kettle without water, the boil-dry protection
will automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to
cool before filling it with cold water.

To prevent injury or damage from an overturned kettle, make sure that
the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface where children can’t touch
it.

Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without
tipping the kettle too fast.

Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot.

Use the handle to avoid touching the hot surface of the kettle.
