Add a tile
1. Open
All apps .
2. Touch and hold the app you want to add until it is highlighted, then drag it
to the Start screen.
Note
If there is already a tile for the app, you will see an "Already pinned"
message when you drag the app.
Add a shortcut (desktop mode)

2. Touch and hold the app you want to add until it is highlighted, then drag it
to the desktop.
Customize your tiles

On the Start screen, touch and hold the tile that you want to customize.
You can then:

Drag the tile to where you want it.
l
Tap ... , then select the tile size that you want (Small, Medium, Wide,
or Large).
