Put the pressure release valve into the vent on the lid.

Put a finger over the floating valve to keep it in position, then turn the lid
upside down.

On the bottom side of the lid, attach the silicon cap on the floating valve with
the other hand, then release the floating valve.

Put the valve protector on the inner side of the pressure release valve.
