SOLUTION

•  The battery may be dead. Try replacing the battery.
•  Make sure that your microphone is turned on.
•  Make sure that the 3.5 mm audio cable is connected correctly and 

securely to your microphone and your recording device’s 
microphone jack.

•  Make sure that your camera is set up to use an external 

microphone. See the instructions that came with your camera for 
more information.

•  Aim the microphone at the sound source and away from unwanted 

sound sources.

•  Move closer to your sound source.
•  Turn on the low-cut filter setting to reduce low frequency noise.
•  Make sure that your camera is set up to use an external
