Finding a suitable location
•
This cooler is designed to be free-standing only, and should not be
recessed or built-in.
•
Place your cooler on a firm, level surface that is strong enough to support
the cooler when it is fully loaded.
•
Allow five inches (12.7 cm) on all sides of the cooler to allow for proper air
ventilation.
•
Locate the cooler away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove,
heater, radiator, and so on). Heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Ambient temperature below 50°F (10°C) or above 85°F
(29.4°C) will hinder the performance of the cooler.
•
The cooler comes with four casters, so you can easily move it to a
convenient spot. Set the caster brake to prevent the cooler from moving.
Providing a proper power supply
Check your local power source. This cooler requires a 110V-120V,
60 Hz power supply.
Use a receptacle that accepts the grounding prong. The power cord is
equipped with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard
3-prong (grounding) wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric
shock hazard from this cooler.
Notes
• The cooler should always be plugged into its own individual
electrical outlet which has a voltage rating that matches
the rating plate.
• Never unplug your cooler by pulling on the power cord.
Always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the
outlet.
