Troubleshooting
Use the following check list for troubleshooting
when you have problems with your TV. Consult
your local dealer or service outlet if problems
persist. Make sure that all connections are
correctly made when using with other units.
Notes
• The signal meter feature is not available
for analog channels.
• After 240 seconds, the SIGNAL METER
screen returns to normal TV operation
automatically.

operate
• Make sure that the power cord is
plugged in.
• Try another AC outlet.
• Power is off, check fuse or circuit
breaker.
• Unplug your TV for an hour, then plug it
back in.
Poor or no
sound
• Station or cable experiencing problems,
tune to another station.
• Check the sound adjustments (Volume
and Mute).
• Check for possible sources of
interference.
Poor or no
picture
• Station or cable experiencing problems,
tune to another station.
• Make sure that channels are set into
memory.
• Check antenna or cable connections,
and try adjusting the antenna.
• Check for sources of possible
interference.
• Check picture control adjustments.
Poor reception
on some
channels
• Station or cable experiencing problems,
tune to another station.
• Make sure that channels are set into
memory.
• Station is weak, adjust the antenna to
receive a better reception.
• Check for possible sources of
interference.

• Batteries are weak, dead, or inserted
incorrectly.
• The remote is out of range, move closer
to TV (within 15 feet).
• Make sure that remote is aimed at the
sensor.
• Confirm that there are no obstructions
between the remote and your TV.
• Make sure that the power cord is
plugged in.
TV turns off
• No broadcast on the station tuned.
• The Sleep Timer is set.
• The power has been interrupted.
Closed Caption
is not activated
• The TV station is experiencing problems
or the program tuned is not closed
captioned. Try another channel.
• Check the cable connection or the VHF/
UHF antenna. Reposition or rotate the
antenna.
• Set the Closed Caption decoder in the
menu.
The display is
not shown in
your language
• Select the correct language in the menu
options.
