use protection against electrical surge. Your shower should be treated the same as a home computer. A 

surge protector should eradicate the possibility of either the transformer or control panel being burnt out.

 

Subject to connection type, electrical work needs to be signed off by a fully qualified operative by law. Failure to 

adhere to this will not only void your electrical warranty for your sauna, but could void your house insurance .
