Conserve battery power

Turn off Wi-Fi when you aren't using it.

Lower the screen brightness. See Adjust the screen brightness (on
page 26) .

Close apps that you aren't using. See Use the Recents screen (on
page 16) .

If your tablet is inactive, your tablet sleeps with the screen off depending on
the screen timeout setting. See Customize the lock screen to shorten the
length of time before your screen turns off. Press
to wake up your tablet.
SET THE SCREEN FONT SIZE
1. Tap Apps > Settings > Display > Font size .
2. Select the font size you want.
ADJUST SYSTEM SOUNDS
Change your notification tones, system volume, and other sound settings.
Adjust general volume and feedback settings
1. Tap Apps > Settings > Sound & notification .
2. Next to General , tap (settings).
3. Use the available options to adjust your tablet's volume. You can:

Adjust the alarm and notification volume level.

Change the default notification sound.
l
Turn system sound settings on or off (including Touch sounds and
Screen lock sound ).
Turn the keyboard sound on or off
1. Tap Apps > Settings > Sound & notification .
2. Next to General , tap (settings).
3. Under System , tap Touch sounds .
Adjust alert interruption settings
1. Tap Apps > Settings > Sound & notification .
2. Under Notification & Others , tap Interruptions .
3. Use the available options to adjust:

Downtime
Enhance audio
1. Tap Apps > Settings > Sound & notification .
2. Under Notification & Others , tap Sound enhancement .
3. To enhance your tablet speakers' audio, check the box next to
BesLoudness .
4. To enhance your earphone's audio, check the box next to BesAudEnh .
