Checking banknotes with white light
1.
Hold the banknote to be tested in front of the sensor (1),
which activates the LED white light area (2).
2.
Now move the banknote to be tested in front of the LED
white light area (2) to make the watermark and,
depending on the currency, imprints on the silver thread
visible.
Checking the banknotes with UV light
1.
Hold the banknote to be checked in front of the sensor
(3), which activates the UV LEDs (4).
2.
Now hold the banknote or document to be checked in
front of the UV LEDs (4) to make the security features
visible. Depending on the currency to be checked, the UV
features are displayed as images, coloured areas or
random stripes.

Attach the enclosed adhesive tape to the top or back of
the unit, depending on the planned installation, and
press firmly. Wait approx. 15 minutes until the
connection is firm and then pull off the second adhesive
strip and attach the unit to the desired surface. The
surface must be free of dust, grease and other impurities!

Connect the USB cable to the unit and a powered USB
port. The unit is now ready for use.
Information / Warning
•
Do not look directly into the UV LEDs when they are switched on!
•
Do not make any technical changes / manipulations to the unit, e.g. to cover the sensors and cause continuous
operation of the LEDs.
