MAINTENANCE
To ensure correct and optimal operation of the unit at all times, all maintenance must be carried out regularly.
6.1
CLEANING AND FILTER REPLACEMENT
To replace or clean the filters proceed as follows:
switch off the power to the unit;
open the central panel using the locks
remove the dirty filters;
gently insert new filters;
Close the cover by securing the covers to the push ups;
The filters can be cleaned if this is possible using a vacuum cleaner or low
pressure compressor.

6.2
GENERAL CLEANING OF THE UNIT AND CLEANING OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER AND
FRAMEWORK
Checking the state of the heat exchanger is recommended at each filter
cleaning/replacement and its cleaning if required.
This procedure should only be carried out by qualified personnel (installer).
To clean the heat exchanger proceed as follows:
switch off the power to the unit
open the framework cover by removing the screws;
remove the heat exchanger using the green fastener/strap;
clean very gently using a vacuum cleaner or a low pressure compressor (to
prevent dirt from entering the heat exchanger, clean in the opposite direction
to the air flow);
replace the heat exchanger;
close the cover, securing it in place and insert the screws;
Caution! Never touch the heat exchanger fins, handle the heat exchanger by
holding it only on the closed sides
It is advisable to occasionally check and clean the fans, the condensate drain
and the internal walls of the unit. These procedures should only be carried out
by qualified personnel (installer).
To carry out these operations proceed as follows:
switch off the power to the unit
Open the cover of the unit by unlocking the securing hooks;
check and, if required, clean the fans, the condensate drain and the walls;
close the cover by locking it with the securing hooks on the unit
