The source selection and transmission instructions stay in effect until they
are changed. When infrared is actually transmitted, the Spit
FIRE
may take
significantly longer to issue a status response to the next button than when
infrared is not being issed . If an undefined scancode is issued, the device will
respond with an error scancode. In addition, if a button that is defined, but
is not implemented for the particular device programmed, is pressed the
device will respond with a different error response.
